Plain Dealer Runs Special Report on Agent Orange

On Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, the Cleveland Plain Dealer published a major six-part special report on the lingering effects of Agent Orange in Vietnam. Written by Connie Schultz, a nationally syndicated, Pulitzer-prize winning columnist and a recipient of the Vietnam Reporting Project Fellowship, the series is a thoughtful exploration of the issues and the human side of this last legacy of the war in Vietnam.

“Unfinished Business: A Plain Dealer Special Report on the Lingering Effects of Agent Orange” ran in a special 8-page section in the Plain Dealer. The online version contained videos prepared by the Plain Dealer staff, as well as photographs by VRP fellow Nick Ut, who traveled with Schultz to Vietnam in October.

Also on Sunday, Parade magazine published a column by Schultz profiling Ut.
